This week’s #SewAndTell is projects made from scraps. I had a scrap-busting frenzy this past spring. Made swimsuits (posted earlier), #SimplicityPatterns 3634 tank tops, and zippered bags (ala craftsy's beginning serger class)

I saw this in ....well, sometime between 2014 and 2020 (when Blackish was on).....and saved it so I could make the dress to wear over turtlenecks. Didn't know it was a '90s 'hack'. ha. Haven't made the dress yet.

Auction buttons washed and (almost all) sorted with my existing stash. Thanks JoAnn for the $1.30 organizers. Husband pointed out there is no way I'll use them all before I die. ROFL. I always add pockets to garments....guess I'll be adding buttons now too.

Butterick 6130 - Well, I can't say it's my favorite....since it's my only, I just bought it a couple of weeks ago, and I haven't used it yet. (Joann sale). Oh....I'd also saved this two years ago.....love the detached back.

Decided to delay sewing lingerie. Instead I'm using up leftovers by sewing swimsuits. McCalls 8813 with two mods - lengthened the boyshort legs 3" and used a crossover waistband from another view.
