my partner and i had to switch to buying our own healthcare because he became an independent contractor this year, and we'll be lucky if our monthly premium only goes up $200 after this. i have no idea how we're going to be able keep a savings if it goes higher than that

to be fair i feel the same as you with medical needles 😅 tattoos feel more like rough sandpaper concentrated on the skin to me, but i've only had them on my wrists and upper arm so far. sometimes people will use numbing cream but it can negatively impact healing so i wouldn't use it
