Pictured is a screenshot of the Eurovision subreddit highlighting the most recent post- a video of Ireland's 2008 entry: Dustin The Turkey singing the haunting classic "Irelande Douze Pointe." Ireland has the distinction of being one of two countries with the most Eurovision victories (the other being Sweden, because of course it is). "Irelande Douze Pointe" was not one of those songs that won. In fact, it would not move past the semi-final. It was a notorious flop from a country that once had The Eurovision Song Contest in a chokehold. To showcase this infamous Irish entry on the same day that the Irish broadcaster announced their intention to boycott the ESC in solidarity with a people who are continually being persecuted and murdered is notably curious. And by "curious" of course I mean absolute fuckshit.

This is my favorite part:
