Me parece un poco fuerte la beligerancia con la que se ha recibido en redes este articulo sobre los *nuevos* jubilados. Gente que apenas debe haberse leido el titular y mal, porque se refiere únicamente a los que se acaban de jubilar

Me parece un poco fuerte la beligerancia con la que se ha recibido en redes este articulo sobre los *nuevos* jubilados. Gente que apenas debe haberse leido el titular y mal, porque se refiere únicamente a los que se acaban de jubilar

Estic escoltant una entrevista a una periodista i l'entrevistador tota l'estona la interromp. És insuportable de veure per aquestes interrupcions constants, fins i tot se li pot veure a ella la irritació a la cara i per alguna raó van creure que era un document publicable a internet.

Llevo un par de días leyendo y pensando en esto. Es estremecedor.
En julio publicamos una investigación con varios testimonios que hablaban de cómo el catedrático Ramón Flecha pedía sexo, masajes o tareas domésticas a mujeres cuyo trabajo o reputación académica dependían de él. Hoy la UB lo lleva a Fiscalía porque su informe identifica hechos muy graves.

Llevo un par de días leyendo y pensando en esto. Es estremecedor.
Cada pais te les seves obsessions històriques que explota fins a l'extenuació (e.g. la segona guerra mundial a alemanya). Em pregunto com és que a Espanya/Catalunya hi ha tantíssimes novel·les i pel·lis sobre la guerra civil i tant poques estrictament sobre la República

Amb això de l'IRTA i la pesta porcina penso que estic bastant contenta de treballar en un àmbit on el perill més gros que puc generar és agafar mal d'esquena per treballar tantes hores, tot i que el tema siguin perills existencials per la humanitat com el canvi climàtic (fora dl meu control directe)

Waste-based biofuels are not scalable. Europe already imports more than 80% of its used cooking oil from places like China and Malaysia.
European cars already use 1.3 mn tonnes of animal fats per year. Every new car running on waste biofuels would require 120 pigs a year or 25kg of fries a day.

I’m really surprised this isn’t bigger news. Just under 10 million people live in Tehran. Where can they go? Where else in Iran will have enough water? This will undoubtedly strain the country’s and the region’s politics, finances and governance capacity.

I think that a building with the best temperature energy efficiency but within a bad urban form (to which the building itself is contributing), shouldn't get a good energy certification.

Turbine composition is largely intransparent and existing Life Cycle Inventory datasets rely on outdated wind turbine models such as the 4.5MW cement tower in Ecoinvent, which don't reflect currently evolving and growing turbines and can overestimate environmental impacts.

As a person who has previously worked with machines and production processes, value added is still a mistery (despite 8 years in ecological economics academia) and this imputed rent for home owners accounting for value added still sounds very weird to me. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imputed...
