Them: all they had to do was get him in the car
Me: shared video of him in the car
Them: I saw that, all they had to do was close the door. He shouldn’t have died.
Me: he shouldn’t have died. he resisted & they couldn’t close the door. Stop accepting poor behaviour
Them: ***blocks me

Two wings, same vulture. One buys your silence with “free” stuff—paid by your kids. The other sells you “fiscal discipline” while gutting the basics. The lie isn’t left or right. It’s that you have a choice.

Over the past couple of days, it has become more evident that people are supporting the government like it’s a sporting team. No matter how many mistakes their team makes, they won’t admit it.

Those quick to judge without grasping the full picture often expose their own biases more than they expose the truth.

My thoughts on the booing of the Welcome to Country:

This morning’s booing during the Welcome to Country at the Dawn Service reflects a deeper divide within our nation—one that cannot be ignored.
Today is not the day to protest it.

The Washington tragedy isn’t a result of DEI, Biden or Trump, and those pushing these narratives need to stop. It distracts from the severity of the incident and misplaces blame—especially before any investigation has determined the cause.

Blaming Trump for firing aviation execs ignores a bigger issue—pilots and air traffic controllers should be able to do their jobs without constant oversight. This tragedy is heartbreaking, but we should wait for the investigation before jumping to conclusions.

People are upset about companies dropping DEI policies, but this doesn’t mean diverse candidates won’t be hired—they’ll still get the job if they’re the best fit.

Read the comments.

One day, people will realise that while they label their opponents as “hypocrites,” they’re guilty of the same behavior.

P/C from cardiologist
Cardio: You’re due for an appointment.
Me: Great, let’s book it.
Cardio: First, visit your GP for a referral. Then we’ll call you to book. Then, we’ll refer you for scans & call when we get the results.
…..And we wonder why people avoid getting checked.

I wonder how many people in this thread have ever actually farmed land then had to deal with gov bureaucracy to make a living, which these people also rely on for food.
During the first ten minute I was on a reporting trip to the Central Valley, a rancher gave me this whole spiel (a mix of kernel of fact and wild exaggeration) about how every drought is man made because of deranged lib environmentalists.

Interesting thread—most people agree, yet still think they haven’t fallen for misinformation themselves because it the opposition that are the ignorant ones.
Still wild to me that so many "savvy" folks on left and right have bought into the idea that online misinformation is overblown and doesn't really matter. From lies about migrants to transgender people to crime to election denial to climate denial, it's literally driving our country's politics.

🧵People are criticizing Facebook for dropping fact-checkers over political bias, claiming it limited left-leaning voices. While that’s true, the majority of voices affected were right-leaning, with Mark Zuckerberg even admitting the FBI pressured them to limit the Biden laptop story.

If people think BS won’t face the same issues Twitter and FB did, they’re not paying attention.

Luigi walked up behind someone with intent & premeditated.
Rittenhouse went to protect businesses from rioters & while fleeing was attacked hit with a skateboard & a gun pulled on him, killed people in self defence.
These are not comparable.
