exactly 😭 some of those stan accounts are treated like celebrities and a notice from them is basically on the same level as a tn notice to some people over there. it’s horrible and so so so toxic. and as you said: literally TERRIFYING.

exactly this!! i will never understand why anyone would stay over there when there’s new drama popping up literally on a daily basis and bluesky is right there as an alternative. it’s so much more peaceful and friendly here!

and that obviously included a lot of horrible and gruesome things our country did back then. but i don’t recall this particular part of it being discussed at all. absolutely horrible and heartbreaking.

it really doesn’t make any sense to me why we wouldn’t learn about this, either. it’s not like germany ever came off as the good guy in any historic situation so why not tell the whole story? we did learn about ww2 extensively over the whole 13 years i went to school.

this just made me feel incredibly uneducated because i grew up basically right on the german border to the netherlands and i have never heard of this, either 💀 brb, i’m going to do what my history teachers didn’t and educate myself on this.
