trump is so angry with Liz Cheney that he refused to make a statement or issue a proclamation to lower flags. Only a passing comment from the terrible Press Secretary. But federal flags were lowered anyway through today.

Army Ch of Chaplains says basically the Army doesn’t need Catholics to teach Religious Education, prepare them for Sacraments, or work with Catholic soldiers & families? Really? There are 6 Protestant chaplains per 1K Protestant soldiers but only 1 Catholic priest per 1K Catholic soldiers.

Same hibiscus. Mid-Oct (L) and today (R). There are 15 buds ready to open but we’re scheduled to have a freeze tonight, so I think today’s blooms are the last. Pretty good run since April. Thank you Mother Nature!
