In theory, it means Amazon will own even more data about you and your health and leverage it to make more money to fund Bezos's lifestyle.
“One Medical customers can request pickup for a prescription at an on-site Amazon Pharmacy Kiosk in the Amazon app as soon as it’s handed to them, with the company promising that most medications will be available to collect within minutes.”
Amazon will start dispensing prescription drugs through vending machines

Instagram now has 3 billion users.
Let that sink in.
That is over a third of the world's population & you can't access Meta in China (1.4 billion people). Facebook & WhatsApp already have 3 billion users. Mark Zuckerberg is the 3rd richest man in the world. I guess 3 really is a magic number for him

The richest man on earth owns X.

The second richest man on earth is about to be a major owner of TikTok.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

See the problem here?

If you’re canceling subscription services with giant companies with ties to terrible people, you should think about replacing them with a library card. Many library systems give you access to physical media (some of which you can’t find on streaming!) as well as other great stuff.
