Do you know a young reader (16-24) who could help us select the next Laureate na nÓg? Applications close next Friday - we'd particularly love to hear from young people from underrepresented backgrounds or communities.

More information + application form childrenslaureate.ie/young-reader...
Poster advertising a callout for young readers. The background is a gradient orange and the bottom half of the image is an illustration of five young people reading surrounded by stacks of books. The main heading text reads "Are you someone who is interested in books and reading? An maith leat a bheith ag léamh as Gaeilge chomh maith? if you are aged 16-24 we want to hear from you!"

Bhí maidin den chéad scoth again ag DLR Lexicon Dé hAoine in éineacht le daltaí Scoil Lorcáin, Baile na Manach.

Léigh Patricia sliocht as an leabhar 'An Mac Tíre Deireanach' agus phléigh sí cúrsaí scéalaíochta leis na bpáistí.

Ár mbuíochas le gach éinne ag Féile IMRAM agus Leabharlanna DLR.
Patricia Forde, a white woman with red hair, is pictured in a library setting in front of a class of school children. The children wear high viz jackets and are facing away from the camera. In the background a screen shows an illustration from Patricia's book, a drawing of the walls of Galway City

Patricia Forde @laureatenanog.bsky.social gave a brilliant key note talk about the importance of bookshops, books, and most especially children’s books. She’s an inspiring speaker and made me well up!
She said - It takes all of us to raise readers.’
19% of babies are never read to.
