Make racism bad again.
Now, I love a wide leg trouser as much as the next millennial woman. But wide leg trousers+autumnal weather is just not the one!

Is there any better feeling than sitting in the airport, watching the rain bounce off the tarmac, then walking across the apron to climb the steps of your EasyJet flight to the sun? No there is not. Adios!

As my late Gran used to say, it’ll all come out in the washing.
Credit where it's due. BBC reporting on Farage tax and property questions. Openly references hypocrisy accusations. It's not hard, the man has plenty of areas to probe. And is very brittle when questioned.

BBC R4 Today -‘a summer dominated by criticism of housing migrants in hotels’. How about ‘a summer dominated by destructive wild fires in Europe and UK and by drought’? Ah but that might make people as angry with oil company CEOs as they are with the world’s most vulnerable. Can’t have that.

Labour need to start listening to the people they can’t admit are those who actually vote for them over people who will never vote for them. It’s uncomfortable for them to admit to themselves but the Labour core vote is urban, progressive and cares deeply about social justice and progress.

My favourite tale from Nicola Sturgeon’s book so far is how she was almost too hungover to have a private meeting with Hillary Clinton in New York in 2017. We’ve all been there hen.

I can hear Oasis clear as day from my house. Excellent. Saved myself £300 there.

If this was a story about a Tory homelessness minister, Labour would rightly be calling for them to resign. This is egregiously hypocritical. Rushanara Ali should resign immediately.
Labour homelessness minister Rushanara Ali threw four tenants out of her east London townhouse before relisting the property for £700 a month more in rent, The i Paper can reveal trib.al/E59gUNW

My biggest 2025 regret is not getting Pulp tickets. Absolutely outstanding set at Glastonbury.

Seagulls and no real sunset are the unholy duo of trying to get to sleep at a reasonable time in Edinburgh in June.

Went to America in 2017. On the ESTA it asked for social media accounts and my employer.
Fascism. 👍
Irish people applying for US visas must now detail all social media accounts they've used in past five years, according to requirements outlined today by the US embassy in Dublin.

If Nigel Farage said the grass was blue, his supporters would believe him. I’d be interested in any sort of reading about this phenomenon.
Oh the irony of Farage. He goes to Port Talbot today and says he stands with the workers.

Rewind to 2023 - he was happy to let British Steel go bust. He doesn’t have any interest in Port Talbot or steel workers. Just his own profile.

I'm trying to write something about the rise of Reform in Scotland and I've got no clue where to even start.

Absolutely no one cares. Why eat a Reform-lite hamburger when you could have a 100% Aberdeen Angus Reform fillet steak?

Something fishy about this sob story (1) The photos are stock shots taken in 2012 and 2014, available from Shutterstock and Alamy—links below. (2) There’s no trace of bankers Al and Alexandra Moy anywhere other than the Telegraph 🤔
