I love student 3's characterization of "uneven". That is what odd means, after all. And that's more clear in some other languages. For example, French has "pair" for even, and "impair" for odd.

I notice that these appear to be times, and that reading down adds half an hour; reading across adds two hours.
Combining those, I predicted we'd add 2.5 hours on diagonal going down and to the right. Very satisfying to see that work out.
