You aren't wrong. But I keep coming back to "these are the voters we have to work with." There are certainly gotv efforts, work to expand ballot access, fighting against gerrymandering, etc...but we can't ignore or wish away 80million voters.

You aren't wrong. But also, to JVL's point...it sort of doesn't matter whose fault it is...better outcomes depend on voters making better choices, and we don't get to pick the voters.

I don't think there is anything per se wrong with a government changing the name of geographic features. Its dumb. And in this case xenophobic, jingoistic and super dumb. But aside from the motives, who gives af what the government calls things?

I mean yeah. But also voters either knew or should have known that they were lying. There's no reasonable argument that the voters who picked Trump either wanted this or didn't have a problem with it either way.
