Lawyer representing landowners in disputes with energy companies in PA and WV. More beard than sense.
It is better to err on the side of helping too many than on the side of helping too few.

Making it harder or impossible for people who need services to get them because you are worried about "fraud" is not good policy.

You aren't wrong. But I keep coming back to "these are the voters we have to work with." There are certainly gotv efforts, work to expand ballot access, fighting against gerrymandering, etc...but we can't ignore or wish away 80million voters.

You aren't wrong. But also, to JVL's point...it sort of doesn't matter whose fault it is...better outcomes depend on voters making better choices, and we don't get to pick the voters.

I don't think there is anything per se wrong with a government changing the name of geographic features. Its dumb. And in this case xenophobic, jingoistic and super dumb. But aside from the motives, who gives af what the government calls things?

I mean yeah. But also voters either knew or should have known that they were lying. There's no reasonable argument that the voters who picked Trump either wanted this or didn't have a problem with it either way.

See, fellow millennials, having a 401k or pension wouldn't have helped, anyway.

Yeah it sounds like it, at best, let's you opt out of the return to office requirement until sept 30 when you then lose your job.

/2 Winds are strong in the foothills of the San Gabriels at the edge of the Angeles National Forrest. One year they blew our front doors open, tearing the deadbolt through wood. This year they have scattered the precious detritus of lives, of the history of people, across the area of the Eaton fire.
