I wonder if DAPOs with their cross-proceeding availability are pushing in that direction? Perhaps not far enough. Appreciate her advocacy for the cost-saving and wider positives of public funding in these cases. Strongly recommended listening for family lawyers/students/anyone interested. 2/2

I really enjoyed Amol Rajan's interview with Lady Hale www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/... - in particular her suggestions for a single application and proceedings in private family law proceedings. 1/2

Oh goodness! I still remember fondly/with horror (depending upon the case) the instructions, "Counsel has herewith the file and is instructed to use her best endeavours", accompanied by the full solicitor's file in whatever state it was.

A few weeks ago I travelled up to the beautiful University of Leeds where I'd been invited to present to their Partnerships in Assessment & Feedback Network about my work with student partners. Their student advisory board have written a blog sharing their reflections: medium.com/leeds-educat...

This really is an excellent series. I binged it while stuck on a train for far too long. Will be a strong "recommend" for my students. Many congratulations @joannahs.bsky.social.

That Lego Ideas did NOT approve this set to go into production always strikes me as a missed opportunity. I imagine it would have sold rather well. Increasingly so these days. ideas.lego.com/projects/a6a...
