We'd have a much healthier industry for sure, whether it was a big or small game that was allowed to keep going or even find new life post-cancellation (Hytale).

Hard agree! I actually, genuinely, would love to see more immersive theatre tie-ins/extensions/adaptations of games.

I think it could be really fucking cool to see the minds behind Sleep No More and the like bring a game world to life and get people wanting to try out the games after.

Also, in terms of specifically this Baldur's Gate show:

- It's continuing the world, not re-telling BG3
- Has HBO budget
- Has Chernobyl & LOU creator who loves BG3
- Original actors will be involved
- Larian is being consulted

Does this need to happen? No! But this is a best case scenario IMHO.

I will be doing this in my next game, I promise you.
