Dems dragged their heels on actually prosecuting Trump, & decided to let almost everyone else involved in 1/6 off the hook. Especially their GOP colleagues who literally committed high treason by being high government officials involved in insurrection. And the end result was NOTHING of consequence.

Whenever the Dems have HAD the Presidency/Congress/SCOTUS, they have done exactly JACK SHIT to arrest the GOP's increasingly obvious assaults on democracy. Every single time they could stop the GOP they CHOSE to let them go. Because establishment Dems are just as anti-democracy as the GOP is.

That is governed by legislation, namely Law No 1647-III on Legal Regime of the Martial Law of Ukraine, which suspends Presidential elections as well as various other elections. And as per Article 108 of the constitution, the authority of the president is extended until a new one is sworn in.

Systematic gerrymandering (which favors the GOP), large scale voter suppression, SCOTUS being openly stolen by McConnell while Ginsburg refuses to allow herself to be replaced, the GOP just constantly violating every supposedly inviolable procedural rule. Dems could have and could be opposing these
