A note to my new followers: Thank you for joining me in celebrating the life & work of Richard "Scooper" Scooperman. Despite many bogus claims, my friend and former neighbor Richard went overboard on a Mediterranean cruise last winter and is presumed dead. May these posts cherish his gentle memory.

An uninterested hipster waiter hands Scoop a menu while he's looking at his phone - bad service. p3. Scoop looks at a series of expensive, fancy burgers like 'The Big One,' 'The Butchershop,' 'Feel The Burn' and 'Captains Courageous.' The all cost over $25 p4. Scoop is sad and is daydreaming about a simple burger. It's captioned, "Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated? I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else, gets me frustrated. Mrs. Walrus says, "It's hard to predict what's going to happen this World Series, it really is." Scoop says, "Oh?" p3. "The Mets, or course, have incredible pitching, and their offense has been great, too. There's Wright, Cespedes, and surprisingly, Daniel Murphy! He's hit seven postseason homeruns, six consecutively! The Royals have been a very good team, too. They're extremely fast, have great defense, and they have a really good bullpen, especially the hard throwing closer Wade Davis. The Mets have the pitching, but the Royals are true comeback kings. They don't have power hitters but they can string together solid base hits and doubles and could sneak in a few runs. But there's an old adage; good pitching beats good hitting. It's a tough call, but I'm making it: Mets in six. p4: She continues, "It's going to be a good World Series, especially towards the later innings. I bet the last half of every game will be filled with a lot of comeback drama!" p5. She continues, "What a match-up: the Mets bullpen up against the Royals, who epitomize that never say die attitude." Scoop says, "Wow! Another classic appearance by Mrs. Walrus!"

Richard was a huge Guster fan! In fact, he turned many of his neighbors (including myself) onto your music! My favorite track of yours is 'Endlessly!' Much nicer music than what Richard usually listened to (Godsmack, Staind, Limp Bizkit, etc).
