A 2021 survey found that 42 percent of consumers didn't know Lay's chips were made from potatoes. So they're putting a potato on the packaging along with the phrase "Made with real potatoes." That pretty well sums up the US right now.

Fraternal Order of Police Chris Massey said the police and the city are working together to find a path forward regarding recent police department cuts. Mayor Eason announced a unity meeting next week at the community center where residents can address the city regarding their concerns.

A visibly upset Ward 1 City Councilperson Michael Dean described recent police department cuts as a "last resort" and praised City Manager JD Hock for having the bravery to make difficult decisions needed to save the city.
