Yeah more media types / file upload blocks would be great, would love to add at some point! What kinds of files, main consideration is prob just default size limits, PDFs and audio in particular could be good ones & useful for a bunch of cases.

Oh and re: blog lexicons, we're starting to talk more with some other folks building longform things on atproto, that'll definitely be an important ongoing conversation. We'd love to see more apps compatible w/ Leaflet + others exploring different things around longform / publishing!

("Notes" are interesting but I think the atproto counterpart…would just be Bluesky posts right?!)

Glad you're liking the Discovery page, we'd like to improve that as well! e.g. view by posts, tags, filter by social graph, lots that could be cool there

Sounds like custom CSS / style differentiation is a big one; not sure if/when we'll do that but we are planning more fonts & maybe other theme options

I think a few other things we're missing e.g. top level pages…also want to experiment with tags :)

Leaflet can have pretty minimal theming & we support *most* markdown (shortcuts / pasting), along w/ other blocks…anything missing?

When you say minimalist do you mean more w/ the writing experience or the look of published posts or both? Love to hear any feedback, we'll see what we can do! 🙏✨

Make sure to hit "use an atproto handle" here (not bluesky) - sorry, we can improve this flow, but let us know if that works!

Thank you, very nice to hear! FYI we'll soon make it possible to publish single *documents* to atproto w/ social features like comments there too (right now only for *publications*).

Thanks Nathan, makes sense! A simple starting point might look like a publication with one owner inviting others to contribute to a specific post (as 'author', or other roles tbd), with something like what you described to verify on both sides.

should we add a lexicon for externally published posts to leaflet. basically an atproto based rss alternative, but will make it so your posts on a blog published anyhow can be subscribed to, and will turn up in our upcoming reader view.

No suppose it's more like elect many more representatives to ensure the continued well-being of the atmosphere…

The serious answer is we all benefit from positive sum approach & success of bsky *and* it'd strengthen the ecosystem to have many more "big" apps & there are a bunch that feel promising!

Also! — we know there's lots we can do to help with reader / subscriber experience & discovery in the atmosphere

from notifications & email to tags & feeds & other ways of collectively organizing longform content…

*for now* though, you'll find some *great* things to read here!

In the meantime, you can't edit the corresponding Bluesky posts but can edit the Leaflet posts — so maybe a bit useful at least to edit the two posts w/ a link to each other near the top!

Good point yeah, we'd like to add a /discover view for posts, so we should think about more granular visibility there, either based on "publish quietly" or a per-post setting.

Thanks Geoff! On our list to add a few font options, including at least one good serif :)

Footnotes on the list too, thinking about the best way to support. Could be more traditional (in footer), or maybe to the side (like a tab in the panel where we have comments / quotes)!
