We can see where this goes - it’s happened before (J6). But Kirk’s death solidified that in group/out group is more important on social media now than truth. So the in group can be compelled to act against the out group while the out group cannot explain its actual rhetoric. It’s terrifying.

So people end up arguing with positions that are fringe or don’t really exist in order to get that attention. And it’s radicalizing us. Charlie Kirk’s death is being used to mobilize people against an enemy using positions the group doesn’t hold. And people with power are capitalizing on that.

All this while politicians and institutions abandon my family because trans people’s humanity is a “losing issue.”

I was wondering the same thing. How can we call ourselves a trans sanctuary state if we’re not willing to back that up legally?
