but as a concept.
I just don't understand WHY non-sexual artistic nudity should be censored at all.
And don't start the talk "but the children".
I grew up going to museums.
I saw tons of human painted nudes

Ever since I finished #FangsOfFortune, I've been imagining a big damn xianxia reunion kiss for #zhaoyuanzhou and #zhuoyichen, and @vitadivata.bsky.social
was able to make that vision come to life for me with this gorgeous commission.💙

Zhao Yuanzhou and Zhuo Yichen stand pressed together, ZYC leaning down to passionately kiss ZYZ (who enthusiastically returns the kiss). ZYZ wears a simple black robe and a brown hair pin. ZYC wears the beige robes he wore in the epilogue, with the white in his hair that he had then, as well as the bell from Bai Ju. They are in the cave entrance to Da Huang, where they previously made the vow to protect the wilderness and mortal realm together. The candles and gnarly tree branches of the cave surround them, as does the tall stone the vow was made upon. The letter that held a piece of ZYZ's soul is falling on the ground behind him, as he's just been rebirthed from it. There is red light curling from it, signifying his rebirth.

This lawsuit is brutal. One of the exhibits is the letter Universal sent to Midjourney, including a quote from a 2022 Forbes interview that I bet midjourney regrets

Universal did not permit, authorize, or license Midjourney to copy or use any of Universal's copyrighted works in connection with any version of its Image Service or to otherwise exploit Universal's works at any time. You acknowledged as much in a September 16, 2022 Forbes interview in which you confirmed that Midjourney never sought any copyright holders' consent to use or exploit their works:
Did you seek consent from living artists or work still under copyright?
No. There isn't really a way to get a hundred million images and know where they're coming from. It would be cool if images had metadata embedded in them about the copyright owner or something. But that's not a thing; there's not a registry. There's no way to find a picture on the Internet, and then automatically trace it to an owner and then have any way of doing anything to authenticate it.
