I’m a wannabe stay-at-home-dad (married, 3 kids, 4 dogs, 7 hens) but I also teach, write books (about teaching), record videos (about teaching) and give talks (about teaching). I’m the creator of the #LearningPit.
Thanks for that. 🙃 Since 90% of our audience are in WA and east coast Oz - and 100% are teachers - your suggested times won’t work either. So, best we just agree that there is no perfect!

Yea, I guess there is no perfect as soon as multiple time zones are thrown in 🤪

Just back from my lunchtime walk. Not quite the views you’ve got - and certainly not the temperatures! Plus, my hounds weren’t impressed having to walk past the bovine patrol on the way back 😬

And yes - I DO love a coconut! 🥥🌴

OMG! Look at that view!! (& no, I do NOT mean what’s on your laptop screen!!) 🤩

Thanks so much for sharing. Really glad you made it safely to that little slice of heaven. Keep the photos flowing …

2/2 for example, my son - with ASD & ADHD - has never mentioned being distracted by displays. He mentions other people, sounds, events & even seating arrangements as causes of distraction but never displays. To him, they’re just there minding their own business 😂

Thanks for this, Kath. I agree wholeheartedly with your first point. I wonder, though, about the second point - are displays really that distracting? For sure, many are unnecessary, but has anyone said - I just can’t concentrate because of that busy display on the back wall? 🤷‍♂️ … 1/2

☺️ I will pass on your comments! I’m definitely not the creative mind behind them - I was just lucky to be teaching that class of P6/7s last week.
