Going to the Knights vs Tigers game at Campbelltown tonight and thought we’d wait for today to check the weather and discovered that the price of a family ticket went up $27 on game day.
Obviously it’s been awhile since I went to an NRL game.

Bailey got his first ever catch today. Literally centimetres off the ground and it gave his team the win.
He got 2 runs and 0 wickets but I could not be prouder of the catch ❤️❤️

This winter Alana and I are playing netball and Bailey is playing soccer. All regos paid and it’s cost us $740.
Alana’s netsetgo is $144
My netball is $276
Bailey’s soccer is $320!
Thank goodness it’s only cricket for Bailey in the summer and cricket is cheap!

Ellyse Perry debuted for Australia in 2007. I think I played against her (and got her out) in 3rd grade in Sydney grade in around 2004 or 2005.
She went from 3rd grade to Australia in around 3 years 😮😮. Feeling even better about getting her out now 🤣

Interesting Hussey talking about junior girls’ cricket participation going up for years in Australia. Anecdotally it seems to be going down now & it’s been incredibly tough on the ground to recruit girls (speaking from experience). Hopefully this Ashes domination helps boost numbers #WAshes #AUSvENG
