Ashley Robbins ran entirely on a platform of ending capitalism. She said she'd run an activist-style campaign to spread her message and not accept donations.

She then proceeded to straight up not meet with at least one or two groups of voters on the grounds that they "support capitalism"

With the Durham primary results in and just about sewn up, I can now say this: Ashley Robbins, who came in a distant third for Ward II, ran one of the most embarrassing-looking campaigns I've ever seen and it's a shame nobody noticed it but me. Because hoo boy.

The planning for even an expected strike (like the SAG strike) is extraordinary. Wildcat strikes (like what WV teachers did) are extraordinarily risky. Telling *other people* to put themselves at that risk is chicken hawk shit
