When I was a child my family always had pets with Tolkien/fantasy names (Arwen, Pippin, Mouser, Bilbo, Merlin) and he’s gray as a mouse in places, though not quite big as a house then or now
The very first picture I ever saw of Ollie when he was a little guy not even a whole year old yet, a little pale gray and white colorpoint kitten with a pink nose, pink ears, and what were pale gray eyes at the time. That candle is really good for clearing out cooking smells btw. It’s less of an issue in this place bc thankfully it’s not a fucking open plan but if you’re still suffering with one and would like not to smell dinner in your bedroom, this is your boy

Despite the label claiming it has “extracts of basil, patchouli, & geranium” it doesn’t really smell like much even when lit, and afterward it just smells like clean air with a vague hint of fresh cut flowers. I dislike almost all scented candles so if I’m telling you this one is nice you can trust that it’s not some nasty Yankee Candle bullshit

Incidentally this is a good move we adopted when one of our previous cats was regularly sick but wanted bedtime snuggles: put a flat sheet one size bigger than your actual bed on top of your bedcovers at night. If there’s any mess in the night the sheet will absorb it and can be tossed in the wash in the morning, and if like Ollie your cat is naughty and likes to wrassle, the sheet will get torn up instead of your bedding
