This week, the state of Alabama plans to execute my client. My options are (a) truncate my observation the High Holidays or (b) truncate my support of the client & team. I will chose A, obviously. But it sucks and they would never set an execution on Dec 27.

As an 11-year-old, I lived through #HurricaneKatrina in a trailer park a few miles from the coast. Here's a remembrance featuring my story and the story of David Dai, one of my closest friends. Just out from @insideclimatenews.org.

As 11-year-olds weathering poverty, we survived the winds and water of Hurricane Katrina along Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Twenty years later, we’re still wading through its wake.
