Gemini 3 + Antigravity is incredible!

I just vibe coded an entire tile map editor in less than an hour. Spec-driven development is the way of the future.

26 hours in and 5 false starts later on EUV, and I finally survived to the year 1400.

I've been trying to clarify the difference in my mind between agentic AI from more traditional code paths. What can an LLM-driven system achieve that can't be done through Lambdas wired together with Step Functions?

I've had GitHub Copilot for about a year now, but I've only ever really used it within VS Code as a code companion. I've started trying out some of its integrations into the GitHub website, and the results are pretty impressive.

I've started working on a project to try to get LLMs to play through Pokemon Red. It's still in very early stages (AKA -- I have a README), but I'm pretty exited to see it in action over these next few weeks.

A few years ago, I wanted to set up a neural network to play Pokémon Red. Long story short, the experiment didn’t work. My entirely uneducated theory was that I needed some form of deeper reasoning or goal-seeking that my toy NN orchestrator just wasn’t set up for.

I've been testing Google Gemini's agentic coding capabilities this week. I started developing a simple puzzle game with the intent of not writing a single line of code. It's hard to deny the usefulness of going from nothing to having a working prototype in an afternoon.

Just vibe coded an entire forum in like two hours. It’s not going to get a million users anytime soon, but it’ll get the job done for what I’m planning later this summer.

Gen-X bait on Instagram is today’s Boomer bait of yesteryear (circa 2008). I just saw an “only 80s kids remember” page that did the whole “back in my day, we drank from the hose and only came home when we heard our mom hollerin’ when the street lights came on”.

Kill me when Millennials get there.

New project starting soon.

I went to Seattle for work at the end of last summer after having had Covid a month earlier. One thing I noticed was the huge change in my ability to breathe the Washington air when comparing the air quality with Arizona. I’d describe it by my ability to take a deep breath that seeps into my lungs.

Europa Universalis 4 is still my favorite grand strategy Paradox title by a long shot, but I sometimes wonder if I haven’t given the other series enough of a chance.

Back in 2013, I was going through a period of depression that left me feeling empty for months. I started feeling well enough to build something in July of that year, so I started working on an Android puzzle game. I worked 17-hour days in a hyper-focused state to get that game to the Play Store.
