I went through the alternative angles, and while in real time, it looks to my eyes that Alek Thomas is safe, after going frame-by-frame I understand why the call stood in the end. It's too close to overturn (even if I think Alek's fingertips hit the base before the tag).

This out call should have been overturned. Why have replay if they're not going to put an effort into actually trying to see what happened on a play.
