It shouldn't escape notice that Trump explicitly threatened to use *the state* to target anyone he and MAGA scapegoat for Charlie Kirk's murder. We really could see Stephen Miller and Kash Patel use the FBI for 60s-style domestic persecution.

If Zohran Mamdani wins the mayorship I will move to NYC. If he doesn't it will have proved to me that nothing ever actually changes.

Republicans genuinely have no clue what due process is. Living in a GOP state, it is infuriating to have a political conversation with anyone, and to find someone who says anything that isn't just the same overgeneralized talking point is like finding a needle in a haystack.
