I guess I never introduced my animals here. First pic to last - Iris 10 year old ottb mare who I do eventing, hunters & fox hunting w/, Ivy 2.5ish? Rescue pony who I plan on jumping & doing western w/, Bentley 6 yr old English foxhound rescue, & Myra 5 yr old pit/rottie/boxer rescue.

I've been needing stitrup leathers for Ivy's saddle and I didn't want to get cheap ones but I also haven't had the money to spend on nice ones. I just found these at a consignment store for $45. Really nice, soft Bates leather that match perfectly. Now I just need the breakaway stirrups

Iris was perfect today for my niece, but unfortunately didn't make it to the top 10. She was in the top 35 though for North America so I'm still proud of them

Off to Southern Pines NC for the Junior North American Field Hunter Championship for my niece. We get to stable at the Horse Park where we've stabled many times before for shows, so at least I'm already familiar with one of the locations this weekend. Here's a pic of her & Iris, wish them good luck!

I still can't believe baby Ivy is a big girl now and is being ridden. This is the first time riding Iris and Ivy together.

When you're already having an awful day and on the verge of a breakdown and the electric fence at work shocks the fuck out of you even worse than normal because you're wet from filling the water trough next to it. I love that I only get shocked when filling waters so it feels like a taser
