I think you're under selling the benefits of IIIA. For one, a IIIA is a lot easier to conceal under clothing. The lighter weight also makes it easier to wear on a daily basis, regardless of your level of fitness. Armor is useless if you're not wearing, and worse than if you can't move well in it.

FPS was in the mix. Though things really blew up when the feds sent in BORTAC.

It is obvious that @socialistalt.bsky.social and @pdxoregon50501.bsky.social at best care about the more about the safety and organizing of literal fascists, and at worst can be considered to be collaborating with fascists who they essentially invited on stage due to their cowardly lack of action.
