Gary Lineker, "I actually think that 80-90% of the country just want to get on with their lives, be friendly with their neighbours"

"They don't look at people of different religions, skin colours, beliefs, traits, and think badly of them"

The Ministry of Justice is still refusing to meet with the lawyers or families of hunger strikers being held on remand.

This is a shambolic dereliction of duty.

I have written to David Lammy, again, imploring him to do the right thing before it is too late.

David Lammy show some humanity, let the hunger strikers return to their families

NONE of them are charged with GBH. NONE of them assaulted a police officer!

This is all very well but the elephant in the room, as the Guardian knows, is the petrochemical industry which lobbied successfully to collapse the recent Global Plastic Treaty talks. And will continue to do so unless govts take a collective stand against them.

Ed Davey is absolutely right again, this time about immigration: He told Laura K on BBC:”There is a danger here if the government gets this wrong it will prevent refugees contributing to our society, paying taxes, setting up businesses, helping us grow our economy – and that will be self-defeating.”

In some opinion polls Labour is down 17%. This is because Labour has turned right wing chasing Reform voters. It’s a losing strategy.

WE DON’T WANT TO BE LED BY THIS MAN!
A shagged out wannabe Trump, a grifter, the man who gave us Brexit misery and who says that the war criminal Putin is the world leader he admires most.

There is a better way. People like Polanski and Mamdani have shown the world that we can defeat…

Labour’s Clive Lewis points out that it once again seems like this Labour Government doesn’t have a plan. It’s all spin and no substance.

Given the party's refusal to act on Pochin's brazen racism, it should be as socially unacceptable to vote for Reform as it was in the early 2000s to vote for the BNP.

And we should be prepared to say this to people's faces.

You don’t need to read much of the report to find its a nauseating mix of bigotry & ignorance, with a racist twist❗️

I won’t ever go there as I can tell it’s the sort of village where locals glare at visitors as they enter the pub..🙄
