Ones that sound like jobs?

Living the American Dream would not seem to have much relevance to a debate on education policy in the UK.

Yes! She has the same zealous, absolutely rock-solid, unshakable, and utterly delusional, self-belief as Liz Truss. Badenoch just hadn't had the power of government office to demonstrate how wrong she really is. And Truss still thinks she was right...

You don't "HAVE to" -- but not going is no guarantee, either.

Quite; my youngest studied, and loved, astrophysics - she now works for the prosecution service!

I've got expensive tax law qualifications, so I'm arrogant enough to want to use them, and tight enough to do so. I let my financial guy do the pension stuff, as that's some weird shit.

I'm doing the sensible thing, as fast as CGT allows.
In a very annoyed way.

It's okay, I can get AI to read the thing nobody cared to write.
I dunno what the fuck the point would be -- but I could.

(Still pissed that all this AI bubble shit is making me wealthy.)

Sandy Dildo? Didn't he play for Third Lanark in the 50s?

"Someone might get something they don't deserve."

Those who object to social spending would willingly spend $1.50 to prevent someone "undeserving" geting $1.

"The single most important behaviour, design or regulation for creating streets conducive to walking and cycling, was physical separation between the modes"

We've got a new study out, learning from a broad mixture of street users, planners and designers

www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
Highlights
For marginalised street users mode separation is the key to human-scale movement.
Streets conducive to walking and cycling have functional, safe and accessible design.
Professionals must approach street design, regulation and user behaviour holistically.
Combinations of influencing factors persuade people to either use or avoid a street.
There are no easy fixes to the public realm that will work for all non-drivers.

But like Johnson, her main strength is her self-delusion.

Period products? Aren't we always being told that they are all "fighting age men"?

Apparently, they are functional, or were, and are relics of the rosettes and ribbons that formerly held the gowns together, but are now simple decoration. Red and white are their High Court (criminal) robes; in the Court of Session (civil) the robes are all red, also with crosses on.

Scotland's senior judges (the Senators of the College of Justice, to give them their full Sunday name) look like the come from Alice in Wonderland. And, yes, those are tricorn hats they're carrying.

Tragic news from Canada where the Canadian Supreme Court has gone from the official dress on the left to the one on the right

That's how we (seem to) like it! (Better than English land law.)
But, frankly, the Standard Clauses have taken all the fun out of it.
