Game 1 was uneventful; rogsi had 50 mins of turn equity and punted the necro first turn…necro second turn…and then necro third turn with a win on board he never saw. THEN HAD A FORCE TO SPITE DRAW

Poison storm went 3-1 at local weeklys…my brain was a little fried for that deck perhaps. Felt very confident in my match up analysis while kicking the rust off.
Learned some better sideboard mapping too which is always a big win

3-1 last night on cycle storm after I punted in the finals, deck just takes alot to pilot. I also was getting used to the new tokens vs old storm/mana tracker but I love it. Probably making the pivot for legacy too.

So like…how does one beat mono red as cycle storm? Despite going off turn 3 without wraiths idk how to even approach the matchup. So frustrating I can’t solve this puzzle. Dismantled fairies but like…grrrr why is it ALWAYS bushwhacker t3

My commander deck from @russellrussell.bsky.social’s cube! I got to steal an anzrag that I stole with a shield counter, and force blocks into it to win the game with near infinite combats (while my nashi almost milked me lol). Twas one of the sweetest plays I ever thought of
