Political Donation “Reforms” were a major party stitch up. However, increasing the House to 199 with fixed 4-year terms; 15 senators per State; and, 3 per Territory, resulting in partial Senate elections every 2 years, would serve Australian democracy well.

This is how democracy works. Governments get advice but they are not obligated to follow it: if they do or don’t, or make any other decisions, they ultimately face the people & are then held accountable.

I hope, as I believe your message intends, that the suffering stops.
But, I respectfully contend that Point #21 is missing: the bringing of justice to perpetrators of October 7 and those actors of horrible retributions since.

No justice = No immunity to perpetuating the violence.
