Trump leaked this story because he wants to you hear it. Let’s be clear :: Trump wants you to blame a shutdown for shit he is planning to do anyhow. If dems cave and fund him, he will STILL wield executive power and slash government programs. He HAS BEEN doing that with the government open.

I see the outrage at Schumer. But what was the other option, shut the government down? That would have lead to all “nonessential“ employees getting permanently axed. That was Musk’s plan. So again, tell me the other option.

As someone whose family is going to be directly impacted by a government shutdown, it is hard to be upset at @schumer.senate.gov. I don’t trust that musk, trump and doge won’t dismantle the government further if it gets shutdown. In a perfect world, the shutdown affects no one. But in reality it…
