I’ll say it again. They get the courts, they get the country. And they’ve got the court that counts most.
“It was a glimpse into our new reality created by the Court’s decision in Noem v. Vasquez Perdomo…Justice Kavanaugh wrote that federal immigration officers can stop and briefly detain anyone they have ‘reasonable suspicion’ to believe is in the country unlawfully.”

Good grief. Comer knows, or should know, most working people DO NOT GET decent health care insurance as a benefit. And well over half of working people are barely making rent and have little to no savings. As Whoopi Goldberg once said, “Just give us what you’ve got,” Senator.
Comer: "We care about the people that are gonna lose -- ah, that could potentially lose healthcare. But there are people that can't afford healthcare. We've gotta get people off Medicaid and into the workforce and into private healthcare."

Sen. Warren illustrates the way public figures should answer.

Dokoupil illustrates the way journalists should *not* handle both-sides-ing, "how will it play," reluctance to call out lies, etc.
DOKOUPIL: Republicans says what you're really fighting for is taxpayer dollars for illegal aliens. I know that's not strictly true--

ELIZABETH WARREN: Excuse me, not strictly true? It is a flat out lie!

Oh look, another White House Signal scandal.

This time it was an aide to Stephen Miller who was using Signal so openly in a public space that a bystander captured images of the chat.

Oh and the messages were about sending the *82nd Airborne* into Portland.

Don’t believe anyone who tells you that intelligence shows anything “without a doubt,” but even if the intelligence was water-tight, this strike was still murder. No law permits the deliberate, premeditated killing of civilians.

I’m confused how it is despicable to ask that question. These are exactly the kinds of questions we have been begging reporters & TV hosts to ask. You see when they do get asked how sensitive they are about it. Much, much more of this. More crypto questions, Qatar, UAE, etc bsky.app/profile/atru...
Q: How did the White House decide it was appropriate for Jared Kushner to be working on matters that involve Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia -- 3 countries combined that have given him more than $2.5b
