The Settling

Photograph using a fairly long focal length of a brick built chimney or kiln (or something else?!). Pigeons have settled on the top, with one circling for a space. A dull yellow wooden door a few feet beneath the top, a metal platform and railing underneath (no external stairs). A buddleia grows from the brickwork off one side. The tops of a few other buildings visible at the bottom and some cables travel across. Large grey sky above.

It's going to be OK

All 4 images are monochrome photographs. Half of the vertical of this image is taken up by a concrete post. The letters O & K are backlit with a gap between them. The other half, a lorry cab and bin bags strewn on the pavement in front of a building. The 'OK post' again but looking the other way. Behind and to the side are the lines of high rise buildings. In the distance a man is walking towards the back of a lorry The 'ok post' but central with a gap each side. A man walks away, obscured slightly by a potted shrub. A battered keep left sign on a traffic island on a London road. It has obviously been hit several times in it's duty. Scuff marks and pieces hanging off. Behind is an urban scene of high rise tower blocks.

Volatile urban things

Monochrome photograph. Looking above the baskets and handlebars of a gang of Lime bikes, up to the end of a terrace of Georgian(?!) townhouses. The apparent scars of a chimney breast and fireplaces seem to indicate the terrace would once have continued on. The bottom two floors have been rendered, curiously continuing up to cover the cavity of (I guess) a former fireplace on the next floor up.
