Not me recording an entire 2 hour session in ableton with OBS for my youtube channel, only to then realize that both ableton and my microphone were recording through my microphone. Haha, no that totally didn't happen and the video is totally usable now, haha. Ha. :(

Started a new series on YouTube where I make a whole track with just one synth. This time it's Ableton's Drift!

I also added all the patches I made in this session as a free download if you want to play around with them (link in the video description). :)

It seems like after 13 years my trusty KRK rokit 5 g2 are finally on their last legs. The right monitor keeps losing the low end occasionally throughout the day. Probably a dying capacitor. Definitely not something I wanted to spend money on before getting a new studio setup, oh well :/

Damn, just heard that Tomas Lindberg of At The Gates has passed away. They were a big part of the sound of my youth and I had an absolute blast when I saw them live about ten years ago at Graspop. RIP to one of the greats!

Doing some sci-fi sound design practise in ableton. I don't know how to call it... huge-ass robot does stuff? lol

Sometimes I wonder how I finish creative projects when I work as structured as a roomba. Oh, how about we sound design some magic sounds now? Five minutes later: let's write a post-punk track! Another five minutes later, you know what: let's finish this techno track first.

If it works, it works...

My last single I released was nearly finished when I got the horrible news that one of my cats died. I included a short sample of her meowing to the end of this track, so that her voice will never be lost.
