Which is why this year’s Winter Olympics are so bonkers! One biathlon medal winner had a huge weepy meltdown about cheating on his girlfriend at the press conference, and another was recently convicted of identity theft and credit card fraud.

That said, , I do like biathlon just because I generally enjoy sports that are barely abstracted forms of professional violence (see also: fencing, modern pentathlon, boxing, wrestling, judo, etc.). In this house we respect competence in professional violence

It used to be that getting a product shipped to you meant buying it from the actual company and not a sociopathic middleman and sometimes delivery would take a whole week, requiring you to either plan ahead or buy it from a store. I refuse to be treated this way
