i did get to be opponent of the day one day but it mostly meant running around doing chores and spending stamina.

this game doesn't even align incentives to make you level up your heroes by fighting!

also:
skills are impossible to level up
items are useless
every chest in the UI is maybe a reward

so let's say we pay for basically all the upgrades, how fast could we max out our daily xp output? would that put our hero max levels within human reach? and more importantly, how much would it cost?

we can max our xp output within a day, and it'd cost something like 37,000 diamonds

assuming you get a new hero every 5 days or so (in practice there's some randomness to this), you could very well spend ~200 days playing and still not have 17 heroes at max level!

but in practice the curve looks more like this for a single hero:

* level up to ~60 incredibly within a week or two!
* 60-140 slow down more and more and more

and if you get lucky, you'll have more heroes to level up. I managed to get 17/20.

so knowing this, how long will it take for you to max out a single hero?

well here's our cumulative xp per day based on the upgrade curve from before.

these match up quite nicely by day 200, so at that point, it'd take a day to do the final level up of your hero.

lets say training bases are free and you can basically build a new one as soon as you finish upgrading the first, so you just gotta wait for the upgrades.

no but seriuosly here's the xp requirements curve for 1 hero (there's something like 30, and you bundle them in squads so you care about more than just maxing 1), and here's the daily xp output from a training center over levels (yellow one).

mind you that you can only build up to 5 training bases
