also the way trucy's grief is dismissed by both canon and fans, my franziska fic being described as "breathing emotional depth into a character thought of as very closed off" when i really think she's WAY more open w her feelings than, say, edgeworth (aa2 ends in her breaking down crying!!!)... etc

bc why does a dead body whose only role is being a male protagonist's friend/angst fodder and is never mentioned before or after have a significantly bigger ao3 tag than several women with actual screentime and personalities who were introduced before/at the same time as him. Lol

my speculative reasons are 1) awareness is lower all across the board 2) i've more recently accepted it and under different circumstances 3) SOOOOOOO many other ppl do it. it's like a law that every conversation abt being aro must at some point clearly state that Aro People Can Still Date!!!!! etc

fortunately i somehow got 100% on all of my labs for this class so even if i completely failed this final i think it would still be okay and i don't think it's that bad. it just really frustrates me when a poor performance is at least partially the fault of the assignment writer/creator Lol
