Resident Evil 7 shows you your health entirely through blood on the screen and a smart watch to monitor your vitals you can only view when pulling up your inventory.

Wish Valve had the common sense to determine Deck compatdata folder names (the folder that contains data installed/created through Proton) by either the Steam name for the game in question or by the name of the .exe (renaming with underscores for duplicates like "setup.exe")

Reddit just failed a basic entry & subsequent password reset because it had special characters, after a direct copy & paste from a password manager on two separate devices.
These companies want to steal your data & sanity through constant engagement yet can't even make something that fucking works.

Valve are such shameless liars with the Steam Deck verified system. It seriously harms my opinion of them.
Some people try to be smartasses and say it's about people not understanding the verified criteria, but plenty of games that don't have good default settings or have basic issues are verified.

So it's now impossible to make a Google account without a smart phone. Demands you scan a QR code so it can "verify" your device with Play Services, checks your phone number hasn't been used to many times (i.e. pretty much once best I can tell) & if they decide you fail for any reason you're fucked.

God For All Mankind's is so bad in comparison. Not just bad, but the quality is INCONSISTENT as well. Drives me nuts looking at Ed vaguely resemble my dad when I was growing up to how he does now from scene to bloody scene.

So there's a very helpful launch argument on Steam Deck (SteamDeck=0 %command%) I totally forgot about that allows you to request the game launch as if straight from a PC, removing any dev overreach in the settings.
