The flow is:
1. site visitor goes to event page
2. click "get tickets"
3. modal pops up
4. visitor selects quantity of tickets they want to buy.
5. click "checkout"

I had to redesign EventKoi's default event template to make it more modular. This lets users add things like ticketing and event organisers without making the UI more and more confusing.

Here's where I landed...

For now, we're focused on 4 big things:
• Calendar block
• Block bindings and templates API
• Register for an event
• Recurring events

Here's a mock up of the calendar and list blocks I designed today.

Putting this out into the universe:

Our goal for EventKoi (WordPress events plugin) is $20k/month revenue by end 2025.

I give us 50% chance of succeeding.

I'll share everything (incl revenue) as I go.
