Keep an eye out for details for our first Story Time with Lesley. I will be reading "And She Had Been So Reasonable" by @raebolt.bsky.social . This story was originally published in Apex Magazine issue 147, and was a finalist for the Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Short Fiction in 2024.

I've been asked how long our submission period will be.

Basically, we'll stay open as long as it takes to fill 2026. My hope is we fund 4 issues, then unlock the 5th and 6th issues w/ stretch goals. That way I can buy more stories, but I can't accept stories that we don't have the funds to pay for.
