Ready for a new experience that’s hopefully more loving and kind than the other places have become.
For Pride month I am posting photos and videos of the Queer Big Apple Corps band. At a time when our protections are being threatened, we must be out loud and proud. Here we are being just that in Queens on Sunday. youtu.be/OF7bmVlDRkY?...

So, let me get this straight: Marjorie Taylor Greene can heckle the president of the United States during the State of the Union address, but if someone heckles her at some stupid Town Hall with 150 people in attendance, they are tased (yes, tased) and arrested? Who the fuck are we?

This is our vacuum cleaner, or as Chester calls it “The Enemy.” He has bitten through the hose, and the many reapplications of tape that Lindsay has used in a futile attempt to save the suction. He bravely fights the enemy. But if I sneeze too loudly he runs and hides. That’s Chester!

In spite of congestion pricing, I do still need to drive in once or twice a week, and the lady in the map app always tells me that “traffic is heavier than usual on your route…” and since it’s always heavier, I want to know what “usual” is.

While we have been trying to avoid the companies of the billionaires, we do have a number of Alexa devices. And just now now one of them showed me a sausage expert judging sausage. And now I, too, want to be a sausage expert.

The Trump Gang just had the USDA cancel $1.1B in local food purchases for schools and food banks. Farmers lose $, and food insecure children lose meals. Tell me, please, how this makes us great. It doesn’t. It makes us horrible and heartless.

When Rep. Sarah McBride of Delaware was misgendered during a hearing, she shot back by calling him “Madam Chair.” And while I appreciate Rep. Keating’s interruption demanding that Rep. Self correct it, I would have liked to see the reaction to the “Madam Chair” comment. Bc fuck that guy.

The latest in the mandate that federal workers must return to the office: many of the office leases have not been renewed by order of the department of government not exactly efficient. What a shit show we have become as a nation.

Time to cancel your Washington Post subscription if you haven’t already. I did last month. Now I need to break loose from Amazon, a far harder endeavor.
