It would be a great opportunity for him to clarify why the two things are not in opposition and why democracy is still important. It would also be useful for him to clarify the differences between dictatorship and the democracy he envisions, as many in this country feel that democracy is threatened.

I just heard a clip of Marco Rubio saying that our intention is to return democracy to Venezuela. I would like people to ask him to clarify if he means democracy or if he means republicanism, since apparently, it is an issue in the United States now: whether or not we are a democracy or a republic.
