There are 17 democratic states and 11 split states. 2400 CDC workers are laid off so we need $360 million a year total to hire all back. That's $13m per state. Of course California, NY, Washington, Illinois can shoulder more but it's not impossible budget wise to do.

Like: 1. Create a database of the people who got fired. 2. Assess where those people live. 3. State CDC hires those people back. 4. States who want to collaborate create a network of state-to-state research connections and work in unison. We need to do something. anything.
