Particularly happy with this trophy. My Lurrus decks are always a disaster so this is a first
Makdee and Itla continue to impress, especially against the red decks since everything has haste
Winning a couple games with dark depths/thespian stage was cool too

I see the chess clock conversation come back episodically and as someone who actually plays competitive paper Magic, it's jarring.
Chess clocks CANNOT WORK in paper Magic. There are WAY too many priority passes in a single turn for any two players, however competent, to properly handle such a clock.

I really love big mana decks with low land counts, which Sami's Curiosity enables. Last format i remember where you could build 14-15 land ramp decks was in Strixhaven thanks to Environmental Sciences and Quandrix Apprentice.

Intrigued by spacecraft but not sure how many in a deck is optimal. @sierkovitz.bsky.social's analysis of battles in MOM really helped me contextualize them so I could draft and deckbuild more effectively. Wonder if he'll be doing the same for spacecraft

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
