I think we'd all agree on the triple dipper. But I get the point.

It's disheartening to see such a significant anniversary for the Army get lost in the shadow of the GOP’s lust for power and personal vanity. It truly feels like so many of our country's values are being eroded.

We have dedicated ceremonial units for official events, and that's appropriate. But the core of our military serves a far greater purpose than being a backdrop for a president's birthday.

While this wasn't the perfectly choreographed pageantry of a North Korean or Russian parade (thankfully!), the very idea of using our military for such a purpose feels wrong. Their mission is war, when necessary, not marching to stroke egos.

The military should absolutely be celebrated, but not as a display of power for an individual. It exists to protect the Constitution, an institution that, unlike some individuals, still holds the public's trust.

It's genuinely sad that what should have been solely about the Army's milestone was overshadowed by Trump's narcissism. Those young men and women deserved a celebration focused on their commitment, not a vanity project.

Do you remember the meltdown when Bill and Melinda announced they were getting divorced? The market flipped out, nonprofits all over the globe were scared they would have to shutter their doors. When he goes on Leno, the earth stops spinning waiting to hear what he says. That’s too much power.

Any time someone asks me a question that I'm sort of surprised by, I'm answering with an emphatic but also frightened "ROONA!"

best gift my dad ever gave me. Seriously. My goal is to get through all of the pieces without having to resort to cheating (going on the line to see how to put these simple things together)

I do indeed.

But it's not too late for the LPGA to reconsider this harmful policy, engage in genuine dialogue with transgender athletes, and lead the way in fostering a sports culture that embodies inclusion, fairness, and respect for all.
