I spent much of the day at the Holocaust Museum’s Shapell Center Reading Room in MD researching a very specific place in Luxembourg that is part of the book I’m writing. I grossly underestimated the amount of time I’d need, & got through half a reel of microfilm in almost four hours! Back next week!

There are few things more humbling than middle school math. I took algebra in 9th grade, way back in the 1900s…why is my daughter taking it in 6th grade?!

My 11 year old is going to a sleepover tonight at her bestie’s house. She asked my husband to stop at cvs and grab some gummy bears and face masks to bring. He came home with gummy bears & masks…she meant skin care masks. I couldn’t stop laughing. She was not amused. These are the strangest times 🤣
